Washday Arniston | Ted Hoefsloot Artist

Ted Hoefsloot

Ted Hoefsloot (1930 - 2013)

An original Ted Hoefsloot oil painting entitled Washday Arniston. This artwork is framed in a dark wood frame. Depicted here is a traditional west coast fishermen's village, humble white washed thatch houses connected by washing lines of clothing blowing dry in the summer breeze.

Painting with respect and a warm affection for South Africa's traditional landscapes, Ted Hoefsloots's realistic painting approach displays an in-depth understanding and appreciation of South Africa’s mountains, bushveld and wildlife.

It was with great sadness that Ted Hoefsloot passed away in December 2013, however his legacy lives on in his beautiful artworks.
