"Buffalo at Sunset with Baobab Tree" captures the serene resilience of the iconic baobab tree, aptly known as the upside-down tree, set against the dramatic backdrop of a colourful African sunset. The tranquil scene unfolds in the Kruger National Park, where wild buffalo gather under the fading light.

Errol's deliberate and highly detailed brushwork brings his artworks to life with unparalleled vividness and clarity. From deep blue mountain ranges to sun-kissed Winelands that evolve with the seasons, from heritage Cape Dutch homesteads to the grandeur of African sunsets in the bushveld, Errol's talent encompasses a diverse range of subjects.

Immerse yourself in the captivating narrative of "Buffalo at Sunset with Baobab Tree." This artwork graces our South African art galleries and is available for purchase online, offering you the chance to own a piece of South African beauty and artistic mastery.

About Artist

Born in South Africa in 1949, Errol Norbury displayed artistic talent early in his life. Norbury went on to study commercial art and illustration at the University of the Witwatersrand.

Since 1972 Errol has concentrated on fine art focusing on oil painting. His choice of subject matter is wide and varied – seascapes, still lives, aircraft, landscapes, wildlife and his beloved bushveld scenes.

In 1981 Errol undertook his first overseas tour to Europe and the U.S.A. He exhibited in El Paso, Texas, in 1981 and 1982 and in Belgium and England. He quickly adapted his palette to those colours predominately in Europe and had complete sell-outs at his exhibitions.

Norbury has exhibited in the USA, Europe, and many South African galleries. His painting of a British Royal Navy ship was presented to Katharine Worsley, Duchess of Kent, in April 1999. The painting is now on permanent display at the UK's National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, London.

We build a custom-crate specifically to provide the best protection for your artwork. However, it's also the most costly option. We recommend custom-crates for the transportation of fragile artworks such as sculptures, ceramics and very large painting
