Richard was born and raised in Margate, a small coastal town in KZN, South Africa. His passion started from a very young age, where the beauty of nature inspired him.
He started pencil sketches from about the age of 10 years old, drawing flowers, wildlife and still life. Richard then started painting in 2015 and developed a strong passion for oil paintings. His homeland (South African) landscapes are his inspiration for paintings. Richard have become best known for his sky techniques and water lilies scenes.
