Obtained a PhD in Zoology. Worked in wildlife research and conservation – focusing on species such as black rhino, elephant and then zebra for more than a decade. Grew up in the garden route. Has travelled extensively in Africa and worked in Tanzania for a period. Since becoming a mother of two and settling back birth town of Plettenberg Bay has had the chance to pursue her other passion, art. Now full-time artist, inspired by her deep love of animals. Passionate about conservation – art focussed primarily on wildlife –through her art she aims to stir up an appreciation for species by capturing their beauty and individual character.
