South African artist Chere Wigley was born in Butterworth, Transkei in 1966. Her artistic talent was inspired by her grandmother, Sue Wigley, who allowed her to dabble in her oil paints as a small child. Chere Wigley has always enjoyed the beauty and colours of nature and this is what inspires her to put paint to canvas. Her artworks are rich in colour and detail an are collected worldwide.
