More about Welvanpas Paarl
Nestled beside the legendary Bainskloof Pass and framed by the majestic Hawekwa and Groenberg mountains, Welvanpas is more than a wine estate—it is a South African legacy. As the birthplace of Voortrekker leader Piet Retief, and nurtured by ten generations of the Retief family, its story is deeply woven into the fabric of Cape history.
With masterful precision, Errol captures this legacy in a breathtaking celebration of light, colour, and heritage. His brushwork evokes the rhythmic shift of seasons over vineyard-lined slopes, the grace of Cape Dutch architecture, and the quiet power of the surrounding peaks bathed in golden sunlight.
This is not just a painting—it is a portal into a place where time slows, where history and nature exist in seamless harmony. Whether you’re an art enthusiast, wine aficionado, or heritage collector, this piece is a rare opportunity to own a visual symphony of tradition, terroir, and beauty.
A timeless treasure for those who value depth, story, and the enduring soul of the Cape Winelands.
